Microchip Clinic
|
There is a Home
Again Microchip Clinic held the first Sunday of every month at
Petco, 1927 Douglas Blvd., Roseville from 12PM - 3PM.
Don't risk losing your pet if they get lost and lose their ID
tags. The microchip ID, about the size of a grain of rice, is
injected under the skin and can be read with a scanner that most
veterinarians and animal shelters carry. You then enroll your
pet's microchip ID # in the AKC's Companion Animal Recovery
database with your name, address and phone number. In the event
your pet becomes lost an animal shelter can scan for your pet's
microchip ID and identify your pet and get in touch with you.
The clinic is hosted by the Friends
of Placer County Animal Shelter.
