The RDOG Task Force
Making Roseville a More Dog-Friendly Place

RDOG has a long history of working with our local government officials to make the views of dog owners heard in the City.  In fact, the group was founded in 1996 by individuals in the community looking for more areas to take their dogs.

The Task Force, also known as the Legislative Committee, continues this important work.  There are 7000 licensed dogs in Roseville.  The City has 33,800 households with approximately one out of three having at least one dog.  Dog owners represent a significant part of the population and need to have their voices heard.

How Can You Help?

If you want to contribute some time and effort, we would love to have you.  The Task Force meets periodically to plan and coordinate.  Often these meetings are on the same night as the regular RDOG monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month.  Much of what we ask is very easy:  to simply show up at various City meetings when items of interest are being discussed.  You're welcome to speak if you are comfortable doing so, but often just having the "warm bodies" sends the powerful message we want to send.

We have an email list with occasional Task Force updates, or you can simply visit this web site and see what's going on.  To join the email list send an email to info@rosevilledog.org
